FA Zombie by Celestial4ever FA Zombie by Celestial4ever
Ahhhh the good old university life - so long ago but fresh in memory. This was done in late 2004, roughly depicting how the students of Film & Animation were like (especially in their final year). Strangely, it accidentally became FA's mascot. I've been meaning to come up with a series of its unfortunate misadventures some time after its conception, but we'll see.

Cleaned up for print :)

Yes, but I think politics is the only job not having a clue is a good thing so I will inevitably deal with the kind of people that assume college is a waste of time and money and that they know more than someone with a Ph.D, which is absurd.

...Wow. I'm not really sure how to respond to that, except that sort of trend is happening everywhere now (and how things are quickly falling into decadence). I fear how things will be in another decade.

Well you need to understand that the world is connected in ways that damn near magic because very very few people understand exactly how it all works, I have a surface level understanding of the technology, so I need to get people think with their adult brain as opposed to the adolescent brain or worse the crusader brain. Additionally many morality systems are just short of binary in a world with so many shades of gray it makes gears of war jealous, so many people are trying to make meaning by demonizing others in order to insure their own sainthood. What you see in the Michelle Bachmanns of the world is a desperate attempt to apply the morality of a bronze age text in a world that shares very little with said bronze age.

Unfortunately, my politics is very shallow, but I understand the butterfly effect one's decisions because of their need to assert dominance. As leaders start to behave less than the representative of the people, everybody's life gets really hard (like the alarming rise of crime rates). I can't even read a newspaper without balking at face-palming quotes and tragic incidents.

Wish I could bring back the 80's or the 90's.

Actually crime has been going down pretty steadly for quite some time now. And the 80's and 90's weren't much better. What is needed is a better funded and better supported education system in addition to spending on capital goods to promote long term economic growth. Also as shallow as you politics might be as long as you realize that both sides are not equal and there is a reality completely separate from yourself, then you should be fine.

I love art and I am thinking about having an art related career
but my dad says it's not a steady career. I'm still thinking about it. Could you give me some advise by checking my gallery please?

True, such career not entirely healthy; It requires your utmost attention+dedication, and your style+art needs to evolve or be flexible most of the time (since consumer needs are ever changing). You will have to sacrifice time, energy, money, and sometimes relationships just to keep yourself alive.

Also, there are risks of burning out (in terms of creativity+inspiration), and that is very common in every artist. Artists and designers of all sorts need to be on their toes at all times or we could be easily replaced by younger and better talents. Keep in mind that the competition is just as fierce as any other industry. But I assure you - once you've gained enough reputation, don't worry about steadiness.

But before stepping in, you need to ask yourself how serious you are and how willing you are to sacrifice a lot of things for your passion, and why you are pursuing it in the first place.

Remember... It's all about doing things we like and enjoying it, right? :)
